1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Licensee" or "User") and DiskUni ("DiskUni", "we", "our", or "us"), governing your download, purchase, and use of the DiskUni software application and website (diskuni.com).

By purchasing a license key, downloading the installer, or using the software, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the software.

2. Lifetime License Grant & Authorized Installations

Upon receipt of the one-time license fee ($10.99 USD or equivalent local currency), DiskUni grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and execute the DiskUni software on your personal and professional workstations.

• Personal / Professional Use: A single license key may be activated across your personal computers (e.g. desktop, laptop, secondary workstation).
• No Subscription Renewals: You will never be charged recurring fees or maintenance royalties.
• Commercial Usage: You are permitted to use DiskUni on company-owned computers used in the course of your commercial or freelance activities.

3. Digital Goods & License Delivery Policy

DiskUni is distributed electronically with immediate digital license provisioning:

• Instant Electronic Delivery: Your lifetime license activation key and software download links are provisioned automatically immediately following completed payment processing.
• Digital License Access: As DiskUni provides immediate digital license key access and fully functional offline perpetual software usage, please review the technical documentation and system requirements prior to purchasing.

4. System Cleanup Safety & User Verification

DiskUni is designed as a precision tool for storage analysis and cache reclamation. While DiskUni incorporates strict safety filters and non-destructive defaults:

• User Confirmation: DiskUni never executes permanent file deletions without presenting an explicit confirmation prompt displaying targeted paths, sizes, and file counts.
• Critical OS Safeguards: DiskUni intentionally skips essential operating system core binaries (e.g. active system drivers, protected kernel files).
• User Responsibility: The user retains ultimate authority and discretion when electing to purge custom directories, developer repositories, or duplicate media.

5. Intellectual Property & Prohibited Uses

All intellectual property rights, trademarks, algorithms, UI designs, and codebase of DiskUni remain the exclusive property of DiskUni. You agree NOT to:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the binary executable, except where permitted by applicable mandatory law.
• Publicly distribute, sell, lease, or sub-license your unique activation key on key-sharing forums or torrent trackers.
• Modify or create derivative works of the software.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

DISKUNI IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL DISKUNI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.
